From: "William Corry Our Immigrant Patriarch" by Mildred Seab Ezell, page 3 Robert Corry, Revolutionary solder, born 1 August 1756, Ireland (County Down? Belfast?), d. 10 Jan 1839, age 83 years, Heard Co., GA, married between May and Nov. 1782 Augusta Co., VA, Jane Seawright, b. circa 1764, died 18 June 1825, daughter of John and Sarah (Leeper) Seawright, and,sister of Sara Seawright who married Nicholas Corry. Family tradition states she died in SC while visiting. Arrived with his father William Corry, born about 1715, came with his wife Margaret and their family from the Province of Ulster, Ireland into the Colony of South Carolina around may 28, 1767. It is believed that William died between May 1767 and Jan. 1770. This source also said that Robert Curry and Jane Seawright Curry moved from Augusta Co., VA to Washington Co., GA in 1784, Page 184. Names of the children and dates were found on pages 181-315 in this source.
